Soundroutes Local Hubs arrive in Seville, bringing with them the energy of hip hop culture as a language of community and social transformation.

From 24 February 2024, activities will resume with a series of free workshops dedicated to emerging young artists, organised at the Polakoteka Studios.

What are Local Hubs?

Local Hubs are music and art workshops spread across Europe that promote cultural self-determination, shared creativity and social justice through music and urban art.

Each hub is a place of training, meeting and experimentation where hip hop culture — with its four souls: rap, freestyle, breakdance and graffiti — becomes a political, educational and collective tool.

Why Seville

Seville has been a nerve centre of the Iberian hip hop scene for years: a city where street art, rap and dance tell stories of suburbs, migration and resistance.

With Local Hubs, Soundroutes aims to strengthen this cultural fabric by involving young artists from different backgrounds — urban, migrant, marginalised — in a process of artistic and collective growth.
