An opportunity for training and collaboration
Soundroutes and A Sud invite you to an exciting experience in Rome, Italy, in the world of rap with Luca Mascini of Assalti Frontali: if you are passionate about music and wish to explore rap, this workshop is for you!
Since 2016, Soundroutes has been committed to providing opportunities for training, collaboration and exchange between migrant and European musicians, and now, with Luca’s support, is preparing to offer a one-of-a-kind experience.
When? Where?
The workshop will be held during the month of May at Casa Khan (formerly Casa del Custode of the Pisacane School), located in via dell’Acqua Bullicante 28, on the following dates

About Soundroutes
Soundroutes(www.soundroutes.eu) is a major initiative to promote integration through music. Building on the success of previous Soundroutes initiatives, this new edition aims to empower the integration of refugees, displaced persons and migrants through the powerful transformative power of Hip Hop culture. Born in 2016 as a response to the refugee crisis in Europe, Soundroutes has evolved into a platform that fosters collaboration between artists from various backgrounds and cultures. In particular, it has given rise to a network of Hip Hop artists, demonstrating the genre’s ability to cross cultural boundaries.
The proposed project intends to harness the universal appeal of Hip Hop to achieve several objectives: firstly, it aims to develop the professional and social skills of Hip Hop artists, with a focus on disadvantaged contexts; secondly, it aims to create a European network of Hip Hop artists committed to conveying messages of social justice and climate change through their art, thus increasing the visibility and impact of the genre.
The Soundroutes project is funded by the Europa Creativava programme and is implemented by the Asud Association in cooperation with Marmaduke (Spain), Chios Music Festival (Greece), De Koer (Belgium).
