Each application must fill in the online form with the name of the artist, the title of the song, a brief description/dossier, a complete artistic profile, two photographs, two video links, lyrics of the songs with english translations.

RULES
The following rules correspond to the call for artists who want to participate in the concerts/showcases that will take place within the SoundRoutes project
PRESENTATION OF PROPOSALS
The call for artists will be open from May 1st, 2024, to September 30th 2024, both included.
This call is aimed exclusively at women rappers living in Europe.
Each application must fill in the online form including:
- The name of the artist
- Link to a songs
- A brief description of the song
- Lyrics of the song
- If not in english, translation of the lyrics
- An artistic bio
- A video links
Registration must be formalized using the FORM available on the website www.soundroutes.eu. Incomplete forms or forms submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
JURY
The winning artists will be chosen by a jury made up of four people, chosen within the 4 partners of the project. The jurors names will be made public in the next few months.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
The originality, quality, and viability of each proposal will be assessed. Likewise, care will be taken to ensure that the final selection represents the greatest stylistic diversity possible. The lyrics of the songs should deliver the Sondroutes social and civic messages: antiracism, care for the environment, gender equality.
The jury will not select more than one proposal led by the same person.
The selected proposals (maximum 2) will be made public on Soundroutes and partners social media channels and by private communication with the winners.
CONDITIONS
The selected artists will receive the chance to showcase their repertoire in at least 2 locations where Soundroutes partners are based: Rome, Gent, Seville, Chios Island. A 500 Euro fee per concert will be recognized and all the expenses will be covered. (accommodation, travels, dinner on the night of the concert, and technical requirements).
By entering this contest, artists are confirming that they own the rights to all material entered and their availability to perform in Europe.
The selected artists authorize the video recording and taking of photographs of their performances for the use of the organization and the media present at the event. This material may be used to promote Soundroutes projects in different formats (web, publicity, hand programs…) in this and the following editions.
