Unity, revolution — epanastasi in Greek — love and rebellion. These are the words that guided five intense days of workshops, jam sessions, and performances during the Soundroutes International Bootcamp in Rome. A journey that brought together artists from Italy, Greece, Belgium, Mexico, and Spain to create a collective track about social and climate justice — a song that challenges a system destroying the planet and criminalizing those who fight for a better world.

Born from a shared creative process, the track carries the voices of Dellisanti, Demon Fox, Dezess, Fire Perez, Larosa, Infinia, Jazzy Eau, Kinezos, Magno, Masta Quba, Kim-Lien, Polako Plof, T-loc, Totò, and Usiku. In its beats and lyrics, rage and hope coexist — a political statement turned into rhythm.

The video, directed by Clara Anicito and Luca Bonaventura, captures the intensity of those days, between collective learning, recording sessions, and artistic exchange. The track was mixed and mastered by Stefano Campetta, with creative support from Francesco Kento.

The songs took life inside ÀP – Antimafia Pop Academy, a space that embodies the spirit of popular resistance and cultural activism.

Soundroutes feat. Hip Hop is a project co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme, coordinated by A Sud in collaboration with Marmaduke, De Vergunning – De Koer, and Chios Music Festival.

Music, once again, becomes a common language for those who refuse to give up — a call to unity, resistance, and collective transformation.
