Soundroutes and the Chios Music Festival invites you to live an exciting and creative experience in the world of hip hop music with Eisvoleas, one of the most popular artists of the Greek rap scene, who will be in Chios for five days to spread and share his love for hip hop music. The workshop is mainly aimed at musicians who… “think” they can’t write lyrics!
It includes three sections: 1) finding my topic 2) the word map and 3) playing with words and rhymes. Its main purpose is to trigger our imagination, to make us go beyond logic, to understand the magic of versification, to create a text, a verse, a poem, with a beginning, a middle and an end, and to turn it into a song on the spot. The culmination of this experience will be a live jam session where everyone together and individually will share what they have created.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve been doing this for years or if you’ve just started your journey in music. This cycle of workshops is open to all youthful voices on the island. It’s the perfect opportunity to express your creativity and make your voice heard! You only need to bring two dice with you.
