After stops in Ghent, Rome and Seville, the Soundroutes journey continues and arrives in Athens, where from 16 to 21 June 2025, the new International Bootcamp dedicated to hip hop culture as a space for collective creation, exchange and social justice will come to life.
For one week, 15 artists from Greece, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Mexico will work together to produce new tracks, record in the studio and put together a final performance that will conclude the programme on 20 June with a live show open to the public.
The workshop, coordinated by the Chios Music Festival and led by producer and rapper Panagiotis Simopoulos, will combine writing and production workshops, informal training sessions and collective activities dedicated to discovering the city.
The days will alternate between songwriting and audio recording sessions and peer learning and intercultural exchange meetings, while the evenings will be dedicated to urban walks, concerts and social gatherings to strengthen the connection between participants.
From the Factoría Cultural in Seville to the streets of Athens, Soundroutes continues to build a European network of artists who use hip hop as a political, educational and community language, capable of crossing borders and generations.
Five days of music, words and freedom — to transform artistic creation into a collective act of resistance.
