From 15 October to 17 December 2024, every Tuesday, the city of Ghent (Belgium) will host A School Called Tribe, an open and experimental music school created as part of the European Soundroutes project.
What is A School Called Tribe
A School Called Tribe is a ten-week workshop where music becomes a common language, a practice of freedom and a space for exchange between different genres and backgrounds.
The approach is that of non-formal education: learning through collaboration, writing, experimentation and live performance.
The goal? To overcome barriers between disciplines and build a musical tribe capable of blending hip hop, jazz and poetry into a single collective voice.
