The hip hop and spoken word scene in Flanders is ready to get moving.
With an inaugural jam and cypher on 18 December 2024, de Koer officially launched the new Soundroutes Local Hubs, and the and the surrounding area is now open.
In spring 2025, Soundroutes will travel through the streets of Eeklo, Hamme, Lokeren and Ronse, before returning to Ghent with three cyphers and a big final event on Saturday 19 April 2025, where the best tracks from the workshops will take to the stage to open a live concert.
🎧 What are Local Hubs
Local Hubs are spaces for musical and social training, where music becomes a language of freedom and connection.
Each stage offers participants the opportunity to work with professional coaches, develop an original track, and record it in the studio with experienced producers.
A free course in writing, production and performance dedicated to those who want to find their voice — and bring it to the stage.

🌍 A local journey, a European perspective
Local Hubs are part of the Soundroutes programme, which brings together artists and communities from Italy, Greece, Spain and Belgium.
Those selected will have the opportunity to participate in international boot camps in Ghent, Seville, Rome and Chios, with travel, accommodation and meals covered.
An opportunity to be part of a European network of social justice, creativity and independent music.
